This award recognizes the person who has made the most outstanding contribution to the Australian transport, freight and logistics industry over an extended period. The judges will look for specific business initiatives, commitment to staff, contribution to the industry, and is recognized in the community through their leadership qualities.
Individuals and organisations may enter on their own behalf or be nominated by their industry peers. Each nomination must be accompanied by a typed summary (of no more than 1,500 words) outlining why the nomination is being put forward. Supporting material in the form of charts, publications, diagrams or photos may be submitted with the summary.
Nominations are open to all organisations in the freight and logistics industry including suppliers, authorities and customers within Australia.
Yes you can nominate in as many categories as you wish as long as your nomination meets the specific judging criteria. Only one nomination is permitted for each category.
You are not permitted to re supply a written submission that was entered in previous years for the same category. Each year a new submission must be provided which answers all the criteria. Judging criteria is subject to various changes each year, so the same submission cannot be used.
The closing date for nominations is Monday 19th August 2024.
Entries in each category will be judged by independent panels appointed by the Chairman. The panels will be drawn from relevant industry representatives.
Finalists in each category will be notified in writing and are requested to attend the Award ceremony. All finalists for each category will be announced at the ceremony along with the Winner.

The judge’s decision will be final. No correspondence will be entered into by any member of the judging panel.
